Tanya McQueen Sorry, for your disappointment..yes, our store is and was very real. We have a pop-up business. It's a way to build inventory and then open our doors until we sell out and then we close and begin building our inventory so we can "pop" back open. Our location changes each time. It's an affordable way for us to do business. We are really new at this and are trying to get a better system for everyone to see and possibly buy our stuff. Hopefully, we will have a website up and running very soon. Between our road trips, the show, our families and design work we our trying to juggle it all. I hope you are enjoying Picker Sisters.
The Picker Sisters store or Pop Up Business reminds me of the vans that sell velvet paintings on the side of the road. If you check out the link above defining pop up businesses, it is when people band together to complete a specific goal and then disband. It does not make much sense for a retail store to use this business model. The idea in retail is to create a following, not to confuse everyone. This just shows their immaturity- they are just looking for drama and attention and not being innovative business women.
