Well I finally got to Michigan to see the beautiful Alma trailer....it is all I could dream of! Lots of character, and possibilities. I have great friends!!!! Mo and I spend the better part of Saturday sanding. Hard work, but doable, at least until we got to the ceiling. Ouch. My arms hurt thinking about it. |
After shopping for paint colors, we taped and were ready to prime. Against Scott's advise about it being too cold, we forged ahead. |
On Sunday we TSPed all the wood. About halfway through, Mo says...."this is a chemical, do you want gloves?" Too late. It would have been a good time for me to go on a crime spree. Since the TSP ate my skin off, I wouldn't have to worry about finger prints! |
According to Mo, this needs to happen before fishing season starts.... It was a great weekend, and I'm looking forward to going back to do some more work. Laura's sister was talking about our blog in one of her classes and found out a student of hers has his owns a vintage trailer rehab company- check out his website - inspiring Timeless Travel Trailers |
