I wanted to finish the priming and the painting of the inside of the cabinets. Unfortunately, Saturday it was 27 degrees- the small space heater was not enough to keep the "tin can" - I mean Alma Trailer warm enough to paint. Sunday the dog got me up at 7am so I went out and stated up the space heater. By 9:30 the trailer was warm enough to finish priming. I was calling it the "tin can" all weekend, then I found a website called the "tin can tourist" all about their vintage trailer. |
The door handle has been a problem. Scott says the wood inside the door must be rotted- yicks another project, but compared to some of the vintage trailer refurbish projects I have seen on line, we are lucky. I have added a new page to the top of the blog called "Vintage trailer resources" this is where we will store all the links to our ideas, Pinterest is a big one for the visual and Yuku.com is a great resource for how to's. |
You can tell there was paint under the gold, so I have to decide how to finish off the light. |
